I just finished my Procreate for Beginners course! I’m getting a bit familiar with everything after completing all four projects. I’ve written about the first and second project here, and now I continue!
There was this one video on my YouTube recommendation that led me to a (FREE!) online course named Procreate for Beginners and I immediately went straight to the site. The course took about two hours (excluding your practice time) and it will give you every necessary thing to get to know the app. It’s a project-based course, so by the end of this course, you will have at least four artworks like these images below. I’m only halfway, but I feel the urge to share this here!
Inspiration comes from everywhere. Earlier today, my cat sat beside me while I was working, then I decided to make a drawing of her. I created this piece on Procreate (I’ve been practicing drawing on this app these past few days thanks to my new pencil).
Okay so now, meet my cat, Ciwis!
This drawing’s dedicated to Ciwis, who’s been staying with my family for 7 years and still counting. There are times when I’m alone at home but I don’t feel lonely thanks to Ciwis who’s been here, there, everywhere. She was also here with me while I was drawing.
Yes, it’s nowhere near purrfection, so I better go practice right meow.
Please note, totalnya hanya Rp1,100! Cuma seharga satu tusuk telur gulung depan SD, hahaha.
Some of you may have seen or heard about this type of art. I would simply define zentangle as mixing and repeating patterns on any media. I can proudly say that I’m one of those many people who do zentangle a lot! I’ve done dozens of zen-arts since 2014, you could check them on my Instagram (it’s currently deactivated, but you could always check it later if you want!). Now let’s talk further about it, get your pens ready!
